Sep 28, 2010 Before we got our Moxie, I told my husband and children there were 3 conditions that had to be met. One of them was that the puppy had to attend Chris's puppy kindergarten program. This has been the best investment we have made in her. I was not previously a "dog person" and had serious concerns about adding a poorly behaved puppy to our crazy, busy lives. But I can now tell you we love Moxie and can (and do) take her everywhere. Chris helped us tremendously before the puppy even arrived. Her advice on puppy choice, questions to ask the breeder, and how to best set up our home to ensure success were invaluable. Her lessons were organized, highly informative and full of straightforward, common sense. Everything was personalized to our family and home situation. In addition, the written lessons she provides @ the end of each lesson are a great reference. Chris, We can't thank you enough for your work with Tugboat. We had tried so many other trainers and methods, and all of them were too overwhelming for our poor Tugger. He trusted you within minutes and is always open to working with you. Your "lesson plans" were great for us to follow and helped us keep on track. We think that very shortly his Separation Anxiety will be almost gone and he will be able to spend some time in his crate without us home. Hurray for not having to bring him everywhere with us.
